Perfect account if you want to know more about how is working life inside a museum. Nancy Spector is the Artistic Director and the Chief Curator of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Yep, pretty big deal. She is the person who did a little trick on the White House after Donald Trump’s election, it was all over the news. She declined the request of the White House to loan a Van Gogh painting for one of the president’s private residence. Citing the fragility of the work and that it must only travel on extremely rare occasion. Instead she suggested for loan America a piece by Maurizio Cattelan. It is a sculpture composed of a golden toilet. So badass.
7 – Hans Ulrich Obrist
He is the artistic director of the Serpentine Galleries in London and is one of the most acclaimed curators and art critics. You will definitely learn things and discover artists by following him. You will get sneak peaks into artist studios and out-of-the-offices snaps.

A great fun media about what is going on in the art world. You will find sense of humor, pictures of artworks and exhibitions. Good stuff then. That way you can shine in society talking about that last scandal or the buzzing show nobody can miss. You’re welcome.
9 – The New Yorker Cartoons
Well I know it is not technically about art or contemporary art. Sometimes it is though. And it shows a kind of art: humoristic drawing. And the people managing this account are awesome, full of humor, cynical (yeaaaah). It is always a joy to see their posts pop up in your feed.
